Emmanuel Guillén Lozano is a Mexican photographer and photo editor currently based in New York City. His work focuses on social issues, human rights and the effects of violence, and has been published in The New York Times, Vice, The Washington Post and Deutsche Welle, among others.

He won the Art Works Projects for Human Rights Emerging Lens Award in 2016 for his work on disappeared people in Mexico and was selected for the New York Times Portfolio Review in 2017. He was a grantee of the Open Society Foundations and Fundación Gabo Fund for Investigations and New Narratives on Drugs in 2019, and served as a photography judge for the Premio Gabo Journalism Award in 2020. His projects have been featured by organizations including Open Society Foundations, Aperture Foundation, the Committee to Protect Journalists, the Bronx Documentary Center, Reporters Without Borders, and Photoville. He currently works as a photo editor on projects for Google at Blink Media, and has taught photojournalism at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism seasonally since 2019.
